Events are held throughout the year. The proceeds from these events help the South Chamber develop and implement new programs and projects to increase value to our members. The events help position the South Chamber as a leading business organization in the Southern Sector.

Annual Installation Gala

The Chamber kicks off the new year by welcoming the new Board Chairman and Board members. A look at the upcoming program for the new year is an important part of the program. Outstanding volunteers are recognized and celebrated as well.

Fiesta Flambeau Parade Party

We revel in the sights & sounds of Fiesta, a two-week party that celebrates the cultural diversity of San Antonio.

Annual State of the District Address Luncheons

Our membership is updated annually by our local Congressman and State Senator on issues that affect our City, County & State.

Annual Healthy Business Summit

The Summit advocates and promotes the expansion of health & wellness programs throughout San Antonio. Attendee's receive an executive health assessment from the Audience Response System technology. Best Practice awards are given.

Annual El Mariachi Duathlon

The Duathlon (a run-bike-run event) allows the Chamber another opportunity to promote its' health awareness programs. The event highlights athletes and mariachi groups from Bexar County.

Annual Breakfast with the Mayor

Chamber members receive an up-to-date report on activities from the Mayor's office.

Annual Legends Gala

The Chamber recognizes those individuals and organizations that embody character, integrity, service, passion vision, talent and respect within the community. Commissioned art pieces by Gini Garcia are presented to the five Legends annually.

Annual City South Festival

The only one day family event in San Antonio that provides scholarships to Bexar County high school students in music, culinary & art. H-E-B is the signature sponsor.

City South Leadership Academy Graduation

The Chamber's intense 8-month course in leadership that reflects the 21Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell. Graduates are awarded continuing education units (CEU) by the Alamo Colleges. The only Chamber in the city that awards CEU's.

Chamber members are updated on programs and policies from the City Manager.

Annual Mistletoe Mixer

Chamber members are treated to the lights, sounds and smells of the holiday season at our most elegant networking mixer of the year.

A monthly get-together for members to share knowledge and experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. A path to build mutually beneficial partnerships and alliances.

These monthly breakfasts provide members with updates on economic development, legislative issues and other information pertinent to the local economy. An ideal business networking event that has the best breakfast buffet in town!
